De La Vega Art Gallery is excited to announce the opening of “Barrios: Arizona & Puerto Rico,” a new exhibition featuring the work of Puerto Rican artist Rafael Angel Diaz. The exhibition will run from April 25th to May 30th, 2026, with an opening reception on April 25th at 6 PM.

Diaz presents a selection of his most recent works created in Tucson, Arizona, and Carolina, Puerto Rico. These works reflect Diaz’s exploration of the natural beauty and architectural character of both urban and rural settings, particularly those shaped by working-class communities. His intention within this exhibition is to reveal the inherent beauty of both environments, even amidst the complexities of social and political realities.
