This is the first event of its kind in Arizona — both in structure and purpose. The Arizona Black Family Health & Wellness Expo is a free, family-centered experience focused on the Mind, Body, and Soul — the totality of the individual.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience equine therapy with live horses, along with small group clinics addressing ADHD, Lupus, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, and more. Guided by our belief that “a body in motion stays in motion,” the event will also feature a variety of physical activities for all ages, including a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, pickleball games, and a family obstacle course.
We are honored to welcome the Mayor of Chandler as our keynote speaker, along with a featured panel discussion titled “Strong But Struggling” — highlighting the importance of mental health within our Black and Brown communities. Our special guest will be actor Oshea Russell, known for his role in Tyler Perry’s “All the Queen’s Men.”
This event provides resources, referrals, and real connections for underserved families — bringing healing, hope, and empowerment to our community.
