Portuguese composer and contemporary classical guitarist Pedro Lopes Baptista is excited to be touring Arizona to perform his compositions, as well as premiering works by Becky Turro (Tucson), Spencer Arias (Phoenix) and Leonardo Mezzalira (Italy). Joining him for this recital will be members of the Tucson Duo Project: Cassandra Bendickson, bassoon, and Mindi Acosta, flute. The recital will take place in the Steinfeld Art Gallery, where local artists will also be tabling their artwork. The recital is free admission, but feel free to bring donations for the musicians and artists.
