Trouble begins when Jacob (Tom Spencer) gives his favorite son, Joseph (Steve Acker), a brilliant “technicolor dreamcoat,” which leaves his many brothers green with envy. The brothers conspire to get rid of Joseph for good, stage his death and sell him into slavery, allowing their father to believe he’s dead.
Years pass, but from becoming the rich man Potiphar’s slave, to the despair of imprisonment, to becoming the right hand of the Pharaoh, time and fate brings the brothers to Joseph’s door. When famine ravages the land, the brothers seek help from Pharoah’s advisor (Joseph), though they don’t recognize him as their brother. Still bitter about the brothers’ betrayal but longing to be reunited with his father, will Joseph cast them to die out or will forgiveness be the order of the day?
