Thursdays, February 29th and March 7th from 5 -8 pm
Saturdays, April 20th and 27th from noon – 3 pm
Do you have a passion for radio? Are you a music lover? Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be behind the mic?
KXCI Tucson 91.3 FM has been teaching the behind-the-scenes of broadcasting for decades and invites you to learn more by joining our Adult Broadcasting Workshop.
This is your opportunity to experience the magic, and learn the rules, regulations, tricks, and techniques involved in being an on-air radio host at a non-commercial community radio station. Explore the art and science of radio broadcasting with KXCI’s own Stephanie Engs and Bridgitte Thum. If you’re interested in becoming an on-air programmer, this is the first step!
You must have attended a KXCI Volunteer Orientation to sign up for this workshop. The next KXCI Volunteer Orientation will be in Spring 2024.

The registration fee for the Adult Broadcasting Workshop is $150 after your application has been accepted. (Limited scholarships available, email [email protected] for scholarship details.)
