On Tuesday, December 31st, KXCI DJs shared songs from KXCI’s Top 100 Countdown of 2024. Drawing from the hand-curated playlists of every music program throughout the year, we crunched the numbers and sifted through an incredible 100,000 songs, spanning over 22,000 artists and 40,000 releases, to compile the comprehensive list of the year’s most played new releases. The countdown began at 7 am on Your Morning Brew with the 100th most played release and continued throughout the day, culminating with the number one spot on The Home Stretch. Along the way, we celebrated the music that defined 2024, paid tribute to the artists we lost, and highlighted unforgettable musical moments from the past year.
