KXCI has invited the young women who participate in the Women’s Foundation of Southern AZ Unidas program to record their thoughts on the history of International Women’s Day, what feminism means to them, and issues surrounding women who they consider pivotal in supporting the cause of gender equality. Unidas brings together a diverse group of girls from across the community and trains them in leadership, philanthropy, grant-making, and social justice issues that affect girls in greater Tucson.

Thank You to all the wonderful and inspiring young women from Unidas for coming to KXCI.

We will be broadcasting special programming during the week leading up to International Women’s Day, with these featured messages from our friends.
