Women Who Move You
On Thursday, March 8th, Tucson’s Community Radio KXCI celebrates International Women’s Day with our theme “Women Who Move You.” Connect with us for a day of inspiration and insight as we celebrate the music, power, courage, grace, strength, and camaraderie of women.
From 5:00 am to midnight, nine women DJs will curate music and messages that span generations and the globe. This special day will amplify women’s voices and share the beauty and power that is female by focusing on “Women Who Move You” in mind, body, or spirit.
Be sure to listen carefully between the music for featured segments from the Women’s Foundation’s Unidas participants, Maribel Alvarez of the Southwest Folklife Alliance and more community voices.
