On New Year’s Day KXCI did a countdown from 7am to 6pm of the top 100 most played albums of 2015. This list was compiled by looking at all the KXCI DJ’s playlists over a year’s worth of airplay, 24 hours a day. Number one was Edge of the Sun by Calexico. There were 18 local releases in the Top 100. Here are the four playlists from the countdown that include cover art, links to buy and listen, notes and the other DJ selections and dedications to musicians passed on in 2015. Your Morning Brew, morning Music Mix, afternoon Music Mix, and The Home Stretch.
