Thursday, Oct. 10th, it’s Canadian indie-folk group, City and Colour at The Rialto Theatre. City and Colour is led by Dallas Green, whose former band was Alex-is-on-fire. Doors open at 7pm for all-ages with The Paper Kites.
Saturday’s KXCI Presents show is Steve Earle and the Dukes at The Rialto Theatre. Singer, songwriter and actor, Steve Earle is touring behind his 15th studio album, The Low Highway, which showcases his eclectic folk-rock and master storytelling. Doors open at 7pm for this all ages show with The Mastersons.
Sunday Plush welcomes La Santa Cecilia in a KXCI Presents show. La Santa Cecilia are an LA band steeped in Latin folkloric traditions, and fronted by soulful female vocals. Doors open early at 8pm with Tucson’s own psychedelic latin cumbia band, Vox Urbana.
Monday October 14th, The Rialto Theatre welcomes Leon Russell in another KXCI Presents show. Leon Russell is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee with extraordinary credits over fifty years as an artist, musician and songwriter; including collaborations with Joe Cocker, George Harrison, Willie Nelson and the recent duet album with Elton John.
