UArizona Sabbagh Lecture: “Rethinking the Middle East from the Margins: Creating Space for Minoritized Narratives”

On March 16, 2023, at 7 p.m., Sargon George Donabed, Professor of History and Cultural Studies at
Roger Williams University, will give the 30th Annual Sabbagh Lecture:”Rethinking the Middle East from
the Margins: Creating Space for Minoritized Narratives.” The lecture will be held at Arizona Historical
Society’s Arizona History Museum at 949 East 2nd Street. Face coverings are recommended.

The annual Sabbagh Lecture is presented by the University of Arizona School of Anthropology and
sponsored by Drs. Entisar and Adib Sabbagh. Both the lecture and the reception that follows are free
and open to the public.
