After the Coolers disbanded a few of us met up and talked about putting something new together, not exactly the Coolers but something in the same vein. It’s taken awhile to find the pieces and longer still to find the time to get together put in the work, but we are just about ready to show you what we’ve been up to. If you liked the Coolers you should like this – we’ve got Denise out front doing most of the lead vocals, a hot young horn section, and some familiar and not-so familiar faces in the rhythm section. We’ll be starting out playing a lot of the Coolers music you remember as well as adding some new tunes to the mix. We will debut at Monterey Court on Fri, June 21 – Right now we’re not sure what we’re going to name this band but for the first show The New Coolers was the best we could come up with. Looking forward to getting this band on stage.
