The artwork of Terma Gallery will be on display at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library from December 1-31 during regular library hours.
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by myths, legends and stories about lost cities and ancient civilizations. This curiosity continues to inspire me and is the motivation behind many of my travels around the Southwestern United States, time spent with indigenous elders, medicine people and storytellers and my exploration of ancient historical and archeological sites around the world. Through art, I explore these themes and invite the viewer to join me on their own journey. I enjoy painting abstracts because it allows me to paint from my heart and preserves the secret nature of the themes and subjects of my work.
