Sonoran Dogs Electric BIG Band

SUPPORT

The Sonoran Dogs are a band of eight musical hounds and champion pickers that came together in 2011 to make a little music. Eight years later, their natural chemistry with each other, positive rapport with audiences, and jaw-dropping talent has built a loyal following on the festival circuit and in clubs from the American Southwest to Australia.

These eight dogs bend the bluegrass genre by playing both acoustic and electric instruments and you can expect monumental things from these award-winning musicians. You’ll hear wailing guitars, mandolin, bass, banjo, drums, pedal steel fiddle, and even a little accordion. They’re style blends traditional and contemporary music, and it’s not just bluegrass – they often stray into original songs, improvisation, folk-rock, and Celtic, played with style and expertise that only comes from true talent and years of dedication.

Don’t miss this show,  and the truth is you don’t have to be a bluegrass fan to enjoy these dogs – you just have to love good music.

Peter McLaughlin – guitar
Mark Miracle – mandolin
Bryan Davies – bass
Tyler James – banjo
Alvin Blaine – guitars, accordion
Larry Cobb – drums
Neil Harry – pedal steel
Nick Coventry – fiddle
