Slaughter High

SUPPORT

“Where the student body is going to pieces!” A group of obnoxious, sex-crazed adults gather together at their old abandoned school for a high school reunion they’ll always “dismember,” because their party is about to be crashed by a psycho-in-a-clown-mask who’s just dying to teach them all a bloody lesson in reading, writing and revenge!
Yes, welcome to Slaughter High, where there’s horror in the halls, lynching in the lunchroom and murder in the metal shop! Back in high school, uber-nerd Marty was the kid all the students teased, taunted and tortured mercilessly. One day (April Fool’s Day, to be exact), things went too far – one of their jokes backfired, disfiguring Marty for life. Now, five years later, Marty has arranged a very special reunion for all his high school “friends” (played by hilariously over-aged actors who clearly haven’t seen the inside of a high school in quite some time). The prom queen, the jock, the class clown, the rebel, and a few select others have been invited back to their old stomping ground (a decaying, cobweb-covered, long-abandoned school that should have been demolished long ago, but luckily, it’s still around to serve as the creepy location for ridiculous horror flicks like this), and good old Marty, now dressed like a demented court jester, is going to turn this weird get-together into a gushing gala of gore! Chock full of over-the-top murders (including death by hydrochloric acid-laced beer and electrocution while having sex), and some highly improbable plot twists, Slaughter High really earns its slasher classic diploma thanks to the presence of gorgeous Scream Queen and movie icon Caroline Munro, whose career took her from Hammer horror films (Captain Kronos-Vampire Hunter) and sci-fi and fantasy gems (The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, Starcrash), to action flicks (the James Bond thriller The Spy Who Loved Me) and primo horror schlock (Maniac, The Last Horror Film). (Dir. by George Dugdale/Mark Ezra/Peter Litten, 1986, UK, 90 mins., Rated R)
