Artwork from PSA Art Awakenings is on display on the wooden towers and glass cases November 1-30, 2019.
PSA Art Awakenings provides expressive arts programs using the healing power of creativity to allow participants to explore feelings and process behavioral health concerns.
Services are provided in a safe studio environment where artists explore and develop their creative and artistic skills. Participant artists learn to use creativity as a way to maintain a healthy well-being.
The program embraces community integration through its studios, galleries, and culturally diverse community events, in order to develop participants’ vocational skills related to creating artwork for exhibit and sale.
The exhibit at the Joel D Valdez Main Library, during the month of November, will feature both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks created by participating artists in the PSA Art Awakenings program.
