With all of the changes going on in Tucson, the members of the Historic Fourth Avenue Coalition came up with an idea to beautify 4th ave & 6th street by covering the construction fences along Flycatcher with beautiful murals from local artists.
It’s on the 50th anniversary of Woodstock so join us on for our first ever
A day of art, love, and Tucson unity.
It’s gonna be A HAPPENIN’!!
ALL DAY 7am to 7pm
Watch our over 20 artists gift their time and talent to the community by painting giant murals on 5ft x 15ft canvases that are hung over the construction fences down 4th ave & 6th st. (by Flycatcher)
TWO 5ft x 15ft canvases will be reserved for kids in the community. One to paint with guided instruction and another to color in.
“THUMBS UP TUCSON” Community Mural:
ONE 5ft x 15ft canvas is for a pointillism mural of a Tucson Sunset. Using only thumbprints, anyone and everyone passing by throughout the day can make their mark. One thumbprint or one-thousand, come be a part of our beautiful community canvas.
