James G. Davis (1931-2016): Down at the Tower Bar

Etherton Gallery celebrates the career of Arizona painter James G. Davis in a retrospective exhibition, Down at the Tower Bar, which opens with a reception: 7-10pm, Saturday, September 9, 2017. Davis was an influential member of Rancho Linda Vista, an artist community in Oracle, Arizona and taught at the School of Art at the University of Arizona from 1970-1991. Down at the Tower Bar features paintings and prints made over four decades, shown with new paintings by Turner G. Davis, and Michael Chittock in the In-House pop-up. The show runs through Nov. 11.
