The mission of this program is to put a hometown face on foreign policy and to explain to America what the Department of State does and why it matters.
Moises Mendoza is a Foreign Service Officer who completed his first tour as a Consular Officer in Matamoros, Mexico, in June 2019. Moises will next head to Haiti where he’ll serve as a Political Officer. He graduated with a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 2007 and Master’s degrees in International Relations and Public Policy from Columbia University and the Hertie School of Governance, respectively, in 2016. Tucson is his hometown.
