Calling community scientists! To support our 50-year program vision to restore Tucson’s heritage of flowing springs, streams, and rivers, WMG is enlisting volunteers to help monitor flow in our creeks and rivers, to check groundwater levels in accessible wells, and to observe the plants and animals in local riparian habitats.
On Saturday, February 16, WMG and our partners are hosting a fun and informative introduction to Community Science Programs in the region, including Flow365. WMG staff will explain how your involvement can help us, the City, and the County in protecting and restoring flows across the basin. You will learn how to monitor using the Water Reporter App and have the opportunity to select location(s) along our rivers and which factor(s) you wish to monitor.
