Artwork on display in the windowed room April 1-30, 2019.
The Global Art Project is a Tucson-based international art exchange for peace which has involved 155,000 participants in 95 countries on seven continents. The mission of the Project is to joyously create a culture of peace through art. The Project celebrates diversity and multi-culturalism while expressing the idea: We Are All One. Participants create a work of art expressing their personal vision of global peace and goodwill to exchange with a participant in another part of the world. The exchange occurs April 23-30 every two years, resulting in thousands of people sending messages of peace around the world at one time. Anyone, anywhere can participate.
