The fabulous annual fiber arts show and market, Fiber Arts Tucson, is back for two great days of shopping, viewing, learning about, and trying out the Fiber Arts.
Attendees can take a tour through the history of the fiber arts – spinning, weaving, tapestry, dyeing, basketry, knitting, felting, jewelry making and watch artists at work. Thousands of locally hand-made items to wear, decorate your home or give as gifts are for sale in the marketplace. Two special initiatives of the show raise money for the Community Food Bank and to support the philanthropic efforts of the guild. All proceeds from “Potholders for Food” will go directly to the Community Food Bank, and the money raised from the sale of “Tucson Rocks” will help the guild in its support for indigenous weaving communities in the Americas.
For the convenience and entertainment of our attendees, there will be various food trucks on the site over the two days of the event.
Attendees are asked to wear masks to enter and to be vaccinated if over 12.
