Civic Orchestra of Tucson presents Free Concert: “Symphonic Landscapes”

Music Director Charles Bontrager leads the Civic Orchestra of Tucson in a free concert of musical masterpieces.

Featured soloist is violinist Timothy Kantor in a performance of “Scottish Fantasy” by Max Bruch. Mr. Kantor is Assistant Professor of Violin at the University of Arizona.

Opening the concert is “La Vie Parisienne Overture on Themes by Offenbach” arranged by Antal Dorati. Also on the program are “The Walk to the Paradise Garden” by Frederick Delius and “Pines of Rome” by Ottorino Respighi.

Open seating; no tickets are needed for this free concert.

The Civic Orchestra of Tucson is a 75-member community orchestra, performing free concerts throughout the greater Tucson area since 1975.
