Since 1964 Mariachi Los Changuitos Feos has been the first youth mariachi in both Tucson and America. But Covid hit both its ranks and its board hard. Now it’s struggling to stay afloat and keep its commitment to scholarship funds for its members on the verge of its 60th anniversary. Local youth mariachi from around the city are joining them to raise awareness and a little cash. The event will take place March 26, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at El Casino Ballroom.
