Caitlyn Swift: Artwork on Display

SUPPORT

The art of Caitlyn Swift will be featured on the gallery walls during regular library hours.

Artist Statement:
Caitlyn Swift spent her childhood barefoot, outside, surrounded by nature and in the company of animals on her family’s small farm. Swift’s rural youth led her to see that ultimately, nature is everything. Although urbanization is growing drastically, Swift believes the earth and it’s barring’s remain the basis of our existence. While easy to forget in our busy and industrious lives, we as humans are nature. The further we place ourselves from our natural surroundings, the larger our disconnect grows within ourselves and our emotions. With her background and home in mind, Swift strives to remind others of their connection to the earth.
