Academy of Math and Science: Artwork on Display

SUPPORT

Academy of Math and Science artwork is on display on the wooden towers in the cafe area April 1-30, 2019.

Academies of Math and Sciences offers students a balanced education that includes STEM, music, art and character development. Our mission is to motivate and inspire students for academic, career and life success through providing an advanced, well-rounded, college preparatory education interlaced with habits of mind, character building and 21stcentury skills. 6th and 7th grade students may choose an Art or Technology track in addition to their other studies; the Art Track students work is on display here. Their instructor, Betina Fink, has led them through a curriculum that builds skill level in visual communication, while helping students gain knowledge of cultural and historical significance in the understanding and creation of art. Core subjects mathematics, science, language arts and history are interwoven throughout the year.
