The Yoga Connection
Learn how to incorporate a subtle yet invigorating yoga practice into your workday right at your desk! This Yoga for the Workplace workshop will show you how to use the things you have available to stretch and relax muscles and joints that can become constricted and strained by common workplace demands such as sitting for long periods of time and extended typing and computer use. Using your desk, chair, and limited space found in most workplace settings, you will learn simple standing and seated postures to ease the back, open the shoulders, relax the neck, and stretch the wrists and fingers. Incorporating a workplace practice can not only ease tensions in your mind and body during the work day, but also help you relax and feel more pain-free so you can do the things you love after-hours.
