Tucson Symphony Orchestra presents Youthful Exuberance from Mozart & Dvorak
March 2 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm$42 - $46
A buoyant finale to the MasterWorks Season! Anyone who saw the hit film “Amadeus” will enjoy hearing the opening music from it –17-year old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’ brilliant Symphony No. 25. Antonín Dvořák was a newlywed when he wrote Serenade for Strings and it remains one of his most popular works to this day because of its beautiful, memorable melody. Villa Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4 is one of his nine compositions written as suites fusing the Baroque style of writing with elements of Brazilian folk. Bravo! Marcelo Lehninger, Conductor.
