Raising the Spirit with Kundalini Yoga: Relieving Fatigue & Depression
The Yoga Connection
This class will incorporate aspects of Kundalini Yoga – Mantra, Breath and Meditation techniques – with Hatha Yoga movements. Kundalini Yoga was introduced into the West in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan. It is sometimes referred to as the ‘yoga of awareness’ because of its primary focus on elevating the spirit. This class will include mantra, breathing techniques and slow movement and body control designed to tap into the energy stored at the base of the spine, channeling it upward energizing and balancing the body. The slow pace, simple postures and peaceful vibrations of this Kundalini enhanced Hatha class will make it accessible for all levels of students.
