Keeping Our Daughters/Girls Safe From Victimhood

YWCA Tucson

Daughters-Safe-workshop-2

Keeping Our Daughters/Girls Safe From Victimhood: Join this discussion on how to keep our daughters, students and family members safe from the very real threats of Sexual Harassment, Bullying, Dating and Domestic Violence and Sex Trafficking. YWCA Tucson Board Member and Sex Educator, Tim Wernette, will head up another insightful and important interactive conversation for those who love and care for the most vulnerable of our community; our children. Tim hosted a conversation last year on Raising Healthy Sons, and this conversation promises to be as enlightening and important. This session, Tim will speak on sexual harassment and (cyber)bullying, a speaker from Emerge! will address dating/domestic violence, we have a speaker from SoldNoMore on sex trafficking/slavery and we will also discuss sexual assault. The workshop will run from 12:30 – 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 19th and will be free of charge with donations requested.
