“The Data Speaks: A Closer Look at Gun Violence”

Stanford Law School Professor John Donohue III, one of the world’s leading experts on statistical findings on gun violence and the effective of related laws and policies, will give a public lecture on the topic on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the UA James E. Rogers College of Law.

Donohue is a dynamic speaker who is frequently sought for his analysis of gun violence and proposed solutions. After the shootings of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others in Tucson in 2011, he was invited to write an editorial on reducing gun violence that was published in the New York Times.
