Amplify KXCI! Capital Campaign

keep-calm-were-halfway-there

KXCI Community Radio began as a dream shared by people who yearned to have a radio station that would share the great music missing in our community. That dream became a reality in December 1983, and nearly 30 years later, KXCI is recognized around the country for what it has become (and will continue to be) – one of the best eclectic commercial-free radio stations anywhere.

But not everyone in our community can receive KXCI – and that must be fixed. To honor our mission, we need to reach into the parts of our community that don’t receive KXCI. To remain finacially strong and stable, we also need to grow. We need to take care of our historic home, and to prepare for the always changing technological world we live in.

These are challenges, but the KXCI capital campaign addresses each of these concerns. With your help, we will meet them, and in turn, be ready to meet the other needs in our community. Just like we’ve done since 1983.

To thirty years – and beyond!

Mary Beth Haralovich, President, KXCI Board of Directors

Amplify logoWe are honored to serve as Honorary Chairs of the Amplify KXCI Capital Campaign. It is a privilege to support our community radio station – the station that has provided so much to support so many for three decades.

For many years the KXCI Board of Directors and many KXCI members have worked toward the vision of signal expansion. This would reach those areas currently not served (the Catalina Foothills, parts of Marana and Oro Valley) and enhance the signal in areas currently served. This would in turn mean more of the community can be engaged with our local musicians, nonprofits and events.

We invite you and your family to become involved. When you consider a gift, please think of the numerous contributions KXCI Community Radio makes to the quality of life in Southern Arizona and give generously to ensure KXCI’s improvement and continued good health. Thank you for your commitment to Southern Arizona’s community radio.

Joey & Nova Burns, Honorary Co-Chairs
